- Beatrice “was raised in San Antonio, Texas and attended Fox Tech High School. She was a long time parishioner and active Altar Society member of the Basilica of the Little Flower Catholic Church. Beatrice met her future husband, Homero, during a family gathering at Brackenridge Park and married him upon his return from the war in 1946. The lovely couple was married 49 years and had 6 beautiful children. Her home was always open to family, especially on Sundays when she cooked her favorite dishes for loved ones. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and an adoring grandmother and great-grandmother.” [2]
