    • “In the mid-1950s, she met Harold Yelle (1930-1971) working as a nurse in Taunton, MA. While in Massachusetts, she raised her first son, Harold Yelle II… Lupe married her second husband John Chambers (1930-2003) in 1960 and raised her three sons Harold, Eric Chambers … and David Chambers… After raising her children she return to nursing for 15 years working at Women's Prison and then Peace College in Raleigh until she retired. She always remained active in her community and church, loved to play bridge, interpreted for the Latino community, collected for the needy, made flower arrangements for the church and loved the lord. In 2015, she moved to Atlanta to join her son David…” [1]
