- “Nola attended school in Rocky Ford, Colo. Nola enjoyed china painting and was the owner of Nola's China Shop for almost 4 decades until moving with her daughter in 2017. She specialized in everything pertaining to china painting and taught classes twice a week, showing her students how to paint scenes, flowers and portraits on porcelain. Nola was a member of the World Organization of China Painters (WOCP) in Oklahoma City, Okla., the Colorado Organization and the Columbine China Decorators of Pueblo, Colo. She also enjoyed knitting and crochet, and gave lessons to anyone interested. She gave her slippers, caps, lap robes, scarves and pot holders to family and charitable groups in her area.” [1]
