Notes - Delmer was a World War II, having served in the U. S. Navy. He was commander, vice-commander and finance officer of the American Legion Post No. 438 in Slaton, Texas. He was president of the Senior Citizens Center in Slaton. He was a member of First Baptist Church there. He worked for Trinity Co. until his retirement in 1991 as a warehouse foreman. [1]
