  “[Eldie] was a member of the Martin Luther Lutheran Church. He was employed by Don Nagel's garage in Round Top for a few years. He then moved to Giddings where he worked for Tonn's Shoe Shop and then at Harley Schuman's Garage. He also drove a Texaco delivery truck delivering fuel to farmers. He then moved to Austin and worked for the Commission for the Blind School. After retirement he moved back to Giddings and worked at the Giddings State School in maintenance.” [2]
