• Notes

  Lubin retired from Chevron Oil Corporation after having worked for them for 35 years. He started with the company in Andrews, Texas, when the company was known as Standard Oil Company of Texas. He and Margaret also lived in Ector County, Texas; Lea County, New Mexico; Pecos County, Texas; and finally retired to Midland County, Texas. Their children attended high school in Iraan, Texas. Once their nest was empty they spent eleven years in the gas field out of Fort Stockton, Texas, where Lubin operated the Chevron gas holdings in the Puckett Field. They moved to their retirement home near Odessa in 1971. [10]
